JMS Hurry-Up speelt volgend seizoen definitief in de Europa Cup. De Zwartemeerders werden dit seizoen derde in de Eredivisie en hadden dus recht op een startbewijs in Europa. Mede dankzij een geldschieter kon Hurry-Up zich ook daadwerkelijk inschrijven.
Op de website van de club laat voorzitter Hendrikus Velzing weten dat het nog niet helemaal zeker is in welk toernooi de club zal starten. ”Dat hangt af van de twee teams die hoger eindigden, of zij zich in gaan schrijven. Het zal de EHF Cup of de Challenge Cup worden.” Vorig jaar speelden de Zwartemeerder in de Challenge Cup. Daar werd het echter al in de eerste ronde uitgeschakeld door HC Berchem uit Luxemburg. Dit jaar gaat de club het dus opnieuw proberen, mede dankzij JD Techniek, die de club hielp de benodigde begroting voor het Europees avontuur rond te krijgen.
