Ziggo Sport zendt de uitzwaaiwedstrijden van de Oranjedames uit. Vlak voor de ploeg naar Rio vertrekt zal in Eindhoven gespeeld worden tegen drie sterke landen. De wedstrijden zijn live te zien op televisie.
Als allerlaatste voorbereiding op de Olympische Spelen speelt de formatie van Henk Groener op 19, 20 en 21 juli het Cocoa from Ghana-vierlandentoernooi. Nederland treft Zweden, Rusland en Montenegro in eigen land. Alle oefenwedstrijden zullen op kanaal 14 van Ziggo Sport te zien zijn. Het commentaar is in vertrouwde handen van Raymond Koning.

Op dinsdag 19 juli speelt Nederland om 20:30 tegen Zweden. Een dag later, op dezelfde tijd, is Rusland de tegenstander. Op de allerlaatste dag van het vierlandentoernooi wordt geoefend tegen Montenegro. Ook deze oefenpot wordt gespeeld om 20:30 en is live te zien op de nieuwe sportzender.
De rechten van de Olympische handbalwedstrijden liggen bij de NOS. Op 6 augustus openen de Nederlandse handbalsters het WK tegen Frankrijk.
