Sercodak/Dalfsen heeft zich bij de EHF ingeschreven voor deelname aan de Champions League. Een mooie, maar tegelijkertijd ook opmerkelijke stap, gelet op de financiële situatie waarin de club tot voor kort verkeerde.
De Stichting Tophandbal Dalfsen maakte in maart bekend geen mogelijkheid te zien om de begroting voor het seizoen 2016 – 2017 rond te krijgen. Stichting Zwolle United werd uiteindelijk de reddende engel die de Overijsselse talentenfabriek overeind hield.
In totaal hebben 25 ploegen zich ingeschreven voor het sterke Europese toernooi. Deze vind je in het overzicht hieronder. De definitieve lijst met inschrijvingen zal op 24 juni bekend gemaakt worden. De loting voor het kwalificatietoernooi is op 29 juni.
