Damir Josipovic wordt de nieuwe hoofdtrainer van promovendus GHV uit Goirle. Dat meldt het Brabants Dagblad.

Josipovic (51) komt over van provinciegenoot Habo’95. In Boekel was hij de afgelopen zes seizoenen de hoofdtrainer. Habo’95 komt na de zomer uit in de tweede divisie.
Via de voormalig eerste divisionist maakt Josipovic samen met GHV de stap naar de eredivisie. Voor zowel de hoofdtrainer als club is het, het debuut in de klasse. GHV was zes jaar geleden nog hoofdklasser.
Jan Sier
Eerder maakte routinier Jan Sier (38) bekend te stoppen bij GHV. Hij geeft zijn aanvoerdersband over aan de 26-jarige Lars Hijstek. De nieuwe captain is sinds zijn veertiende actief in de hoofdmacht van GHV.
