Als speler startte Weevers bij Groene Ster. Via Tachos en E&O vond hij de weg naar Duitsland.
Tussen 2004 en 2012 speelde de rechterhoekspeler voor TV Emsdetten. In 2013 sloot Weevers aan bij Bevo waar hij zijn carrière in de top afsloot.
Het Noord-Brabantse Groene Ster is na de zomer actief in de tweede divisie. De kans is aanwezig dat de 50-voudig international beurten binnen de lijnen maakt.
