In een statement op de website laat voorzitter Piet Kes weten dat het tijd is voor een frisse wind in het palingdorp. “Mark heeft in onze ogen zijn waarde bewezen, maar onverlet is dat er na verloop van tijd een frisse wind moet waaien om de prestaties, ambities en ontwikkeling van de club scherp te houden. Wij zijn trots dat Mark bij ons als trainer/coach is gestart met zijn loopbaanontwikkeling en wensen hem alvast ontzettend veel succes in zijn verdere carrière.”
