Semmy Stigter maakt de overstap van Hellas naar stadgenoot Hercules.
De linkshandige hoekspeler, die vandaag 24 jaar is geworden, heeft zijn lidmaatschap bij Hellas opgezegd.
Hercules reageerde alert en heeft de technisch vaardige handballer per direct in de selectie opgenomen. Hij is vanaf 1 januari speelgerechtigd.
Stigter, oorspronkelijk afkomstig van HVV’70: ,,Ik had het niet meer naar mijn zin. Kon m’n draai niet vinden. Dan kun je beter uit elkaar gaan.”
Coach Roestenburg van Hercules: ,,Een linkshander kunnen wij goed gebruiken in het team. Onze rechterkant wordt hiermee behoorlijk versterkt.”
Manager Arjan Starrenburg van Hellas: ,,Jammer dat het zo gelopen is. We hebben nog uitgebreid met Semmy gesproken om te proberen hem te behouden. Dat is helaas niet gelukt.”
