De HVC Beach Cup wordt dit jaar gehouden op zaterdag 11 en zondag 12 juni. Na het succes van vorig jaar heeft de Drentse club besloten dat het beachfestijn wordt verspreid over twee dagen.
De editie van 2015 werd een groot succes, met meer dan twintig verschillende teams uit Drenthe en Groningen. Op twee beachvelden werd een toernooi voor zowel de jeugd als de senioren gehouden. Vanwege het succes wordt ervoor gekozen een weekend lang te ‘beachen’ in Barger-Compascuum.
Onderdeel NHV Beach Tour
De club heeft het toernooi inmiddels aangemeld voor de Beach Tour van het NHV. Daardoor zijn er punten voor het Nederlands Kampioenschap te verdienen in Zuidoost-Drenthe.
