De eerste kwartfinales worden gespeeld in het weekend van 1 – 3 april en de returns in het weekend van 8 – 10 april. De Final Four van de Champions League wordt gespeeld in de Sportarena in Budapest.

Lois Abbingh verloor met Baia Mare de laatste groepswedstrijd van FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria (21-18) en de Roemenen werden daardoor vierde in groep 1. Dat betekent dat Baia Mare voor een hele zware opgave staat in de kwartfinale. Het zal het op moeten nemen tegen de groepswinnaar uit groep 2, het Montenegrijnse Buducnost.
Groot en Broch
Nycke Groot en Yvette Broch boekten met Györ in de laatste groepswedstrijd een knappe overwinning op CSM Bucuresti (22-24) en verzekerden zich daarmee van de tweede plek in groep 2. Györ moet het in de kwartfinale opnemen tegen de nummer 3 uit groep 1, FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria. Een duel tussen de twee Hongaarse rivalen.
