Quintus heeft zich evenals vorig seizoen geplaatst voor de kwartfinale van de Challenge. Voor de tweede keer werd competitiegenoot V&L geklopt.

Na de 22-27 in Geleen was Quintus ook in eigen huis sterker. Bij rust was het verschil in de Europese return al aanzienlijk (11-5).
Na de pauze snoepte V&L nog wat van de achterstand af. De 23-19 nederlaag was logischerwijs niet genoeg voor een plaats bij de laatste acht.
Zo mag Quintus zich opmaken voor de kwartfinale van de Challenge Cup. De Heulse formatie is ook nog in de race voor de landstitel en beker.
